Red Bear Inn Guest Policies


Check in time is 3:00 PM to 10:00 PM.
If you expect to arrive after 10:00 PM, please utilize the information that was sent to you about our "Contactless Check In." This enables you to check in from your phone and go directly to your room.

Check out time is 11:00 AM.You do not need to come into the lobby; a receipt will be emailed to you. You may simply leave your curtains open as you leave. If you leave your room but still plan to come back before checkout time, please leave the Do Not Disturb magnet on the outside of your door.


Room Guarantee
Valid credit card information and billing address must be on file to check in, this information is maintained within our reservation system as a property guarantee as it relates to the following policies. While we make every attempt to keep you in the room you originally reserved, your room may be moved for unforeseen circumstances. Please make notes on your reservation if you have a floor preference.

Cancellation Policy
We have a 7 day cancellation policy from Memorial Day Weekend through Labor Day Weekend each year. If you cancel within 7 days of the reservation, you will not receive a refund. Off season, we require a 72-hour cancellation notice. IF you book with a third party you MUST coordinate the change or cancellation through them. If you book through us, please contact us to make a change or cancellation.  Non-refundable rate requires 100% payment of stay upon reservation.  Non-refundable reservations are non-changeable and can NOT be cancelled.

No Smoking/Vaping/Cooking/Marijuana use indoors
There is a designated smoking area outside with chairs between the buildings. No smoking in front of rooms or on landings.
Montana Law States: NO SMOKING WITHIN 20 FEET OF A DOOR OR WINDOW.
A $250 minimum fine will be assessed if your room has smoking materials or smells that have to be cleaned.


Pets PoliciesIf you have a non-registered animal in ANY room you will be assessed a $250 cleaning fee/per day at any time of the year. Any damage caused by a pet will be assessed an additional fee to pay for damages. Pets are NOT allowed to be left in the room by themselves at any time for any length of time. Pets should be on a leash at all times on the property grounds.

Damage/Theft
Stolen items will be charged at any cost associated with its replacement. Unreasonably damaged furniture, blankets, towels, and sheets will be charged if soiled beyond normal wear and tear. 
 

Parking
Parking is free to paying guests. If a vehicle/trailer is left by a guest beyond the day of checkout, a $50.00 fee will be assessed for each day it remains on the property and will be billed to the credit card on-file.


Contactless Check-In
By entering the room with your code, you have conveyed that you have agreed to all of our policies. Failure to read or sign the agreement have been circumvented by the action of using the code.


Early Check-In
Check-in is 3:00 PM. Due to high occupancy rates, early check ins are not available.  You may call in on day of arrival OFF SEASON to check fi there is availability.


Billing Policies
As a normal practice, to speed up check-in, we charge the card you provided prior to check-in according to the current cancellation policy (7 days prior on season (Memorial Day - Labor Day)/ 72 hours prior off season). The free cancellation time has passed at the time of charging your card that you offered us. If your card is marked as invalid/declined at the time of charging it will result in a loss of your room reservation. Please use a card that will be valid through your time of staying with us. If you choose to change credit cards at the time of arrival, there will be a 3.5% fee for the change.

Quiet Time
Quiet time is from 10:00 PM to 9:00 AM.
